The Chicagoland Pops Orchestra was formed by Springbrook Community Church with the goal of sharing great symphonic pops music at our premiere concert Friday, June 5, 2009. Enthusiastic community involvement has drawn widespread interest in this dynamic musical organization, attracting area professionals and gifted instrumentalists. The Pops concerts capture the imagination of children and adults alike with a fast-paced, informal approach to great music from the stage, screen and television as well as orchestral classics.
Film clips, guest appearances and the casual ambience of being able to sit back, relax and enjoy great music while snacking on popcorn breaks all the normal rules of etiquette that surround an event like a symphony concert. Through creativity and spontaneity, audience members are on the edge of their seats from beginning to end with non-stop thrills that are a trademark for the Chicagoland Pops. As an ambassador for the arts, the Chicagoland Pops Orchestra offers an incredible opportunity for family entertainment!
